The Summit Industrial DSP-610L 24" x 6" Top and Bottom Planer comes with a powerful 25 HP belted motor drive for the top cutterhead and 20 HP belted motor drive for the bottom cutterhead, 3 HP variable speed drive, infinitely variable from 19 to 65 feet per minute, 1 HP powered raise and lower of the bed. Telemecanique brand Star Delta soft start electrical controls.

Features a cast iron table with a chromed bed for longer wear, spring loaded sectional chip breaker, sectional top feed roller, chain driven material conforming multi pin pressure type feed, automatic lubricator, roller on the infeed table for easy feeding, safety stop button at the back end of the machine.

Easy to use programmable thickness indicator with power raise and lower for faster and accurate thickness changes, (3) ampmeters; one each for feed motor, top and bottom cutterhead motors. Spiral Cutterhead comes with (6) rows of 30 x 12 x 1.5mm double edged disposable cutters, heavy duty knives designed for heavy cuts at higher feed rates providing a high quality finish on hardwood lumber and panels.
